
The goal of Southern Spitfires Baseball is to train young ball players in a way that motivates their personal desire to be Godly leaders, while also remaining competitive and maximizing the development of their skills through a healthy balance of hard work and fun. We strive to produce top-notch athletes who stand out, not only for their performance on the field, but also for their character, sportsmanship, and genuine love for the game of baseball!

LOCATION:
PRACTICES ARE HELD AT VARIOUS FIELDS AND FACILITIES WITHIN COLUMBIA COUNTY, AND WE PARTICIPATE IN TOURNAMENTS ACROSS THE CSRA AND SURROUNDING AREAS.
COMMITMENT:
OUR SCHEDULE IS BASED AROUND A 12 MONTH TOURNAMENT SEASON BEGINNING IN AUGUST, AND TYPICALLY INCLUDES SEVERAL PRACTICES EACH WEEK, WITH 1-2 WEEKEND TOURNAMENTS EACH MONTH. WE BELIEVE IT IS VITAL TO HELP OUR PLAYERS MAINTAIN A HEALTHY BALANCE BETWEEN SPORTS AND "LIFE" IN ORDER TO KEEP THEIR PASSION AND ABILITIES GROWING.
EXPENSE:
AS A NONPROFIT/501(c)3 WE ARE THANKFUL FOR THE ABILITY TO RECEIVE TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATIONS THROUGH FUNDRAISING, AND GENEROUS SPONSORS. THESE CONTRIBUTIONS GO DIRECTLY TOWARDS COSTS SUCH AS TOURNAMENT FEES, FIELD/FACILITY RENTALS, AND TRAINING EQUIPMENT. THE SPITFIRE REGISTRATION FEE THAT EACH PLAYER PAYS EACH SEASON TYPICALLY INCLUDES PRACTICE JERSEYS, TOURNAMENT UNIFORMS, HATS, CUSTOM BATTING HELMETS, AND CUSTOM BAT BAGS. THIS FEE CAN BE EXPECTED TO VARY FROM SEASON TO SEASON AS IT IS DEPENDENT UPON THE PLAYER'S NEED AND UNIFORM PRICING.
